Spring Migration Route

I'm migrating from Phoenix, Arizona to Goshen, Indiana. We've made the drive numerous times in early and late summer. (A three day trip hauling our teardrop trailer.) This time, we anticipate driving in early spring, when weather varies from sunshine/40 degrees to blizzard conditions. 

We've plotted a southerly route that largely avoids the mountains and the coldest states. However, when I originally drove to Arizona from Philadelphia, I hit snow in Amarillo during April.

After decades in my nation's fifth largest city, I am migrating to a small Midwest town. Each week, I document my challenges, surprises, hopes and apprehensions. I also expound a bit on my rationale and experience as a domestic climate refugee, and drop I some fun facts to keep it light. 

Moving two thousand miles away is no simple task when you're eligible for a senior discount. I'm hoping this blog will provide some lived perspective for fellow seniors anticipating major life changes. I'd also love to connect with others on similar journeys.
